The Story Of Bedford Town Colts

This season they consist of seven teams ranging from Under 9's to Under 16's.

Bedford Town Colts are linked with Luton Town F.C. & MK Dons.

Bedford Town Colts FC are the youth section of Bedford Town Football Club. Bedford Town FC or The Eagles as they are commonly known are Bedfordshire's highest rated non-league team. They will be playing their football this season in the Southern League Premier Division.

The aim of Stuart Harding the Colts Youth Development Officer, and the management team is to point the players in the right direction so that they may one day play for the Bedford Town first team, or at an even higher level. Rene Howe is one example of a player who has been with Bedford Town since the under 9's, Now in his 20’s he has now moved on to Peterborough United on a professional contract Currently on loan to Rochdale. Good luck to him in the future.

Stuart Harding himself is a former Bedford Town player. Derwayne Stupple the under 15's manager is a current first team player, while other players have coaching roles.

This season will see the Colts expand to seven teams, with new squads introduced at u9 and u10 age groups. All other age groups take one step up.

Plus this season we welcome new managers / coaches to Bedford Town Colts

Under 9’s Mark Edwards & Dennis O’Meara, Under 10’s Steve Feazey & Tom Henman.

Also we welcome the new Under 13's Manager Mark Crowther

& Under 16’s Manager Jim Duffield.

All Bedford Town Colts teams will be playing in division 1 of their respective leagues.

The Under 9's & Under 10’s will this season play in the Filmergraphics Mini Youth Soccer League.

All other age group teams will this season play in the AVC Chiltern Youth Football League.
